What started out as a fun thing to do back in the 80's turned out to be a long term punk rock frenzy. We've toured from Montreal, to Portland Maine, from Manchester and Nashua, NH down to Florida. Most notable shows include GG Allin to The Real Kids. We are currently re-grouping, and are in need of a bass player.

 The Abortion Squad is an early 80's style hardcore punk band from Manchester, NH. We formed in 1982, heavily influenced by the world-wide phenomanal underground blast of hardcore punk. In 1983 we went into the recording studio and put out a demo tape of original, brutal, honest, humourus, and in your face Punk rock music, that can still be found on the web to this day. The 80's were are heydays, the 90's saw several line-up changes, and the eventual break up of the band altogether. In 2005 original founding members Pat Landry and Joe Leblanc, decided it was time to re-group, and called upon Mike Landry to take-over the drumkit, and yes the two Landry's are brothers. In Feb. of '06 we were called upon by old Boston friend AL Quint to play his birthday bash at Regeration Records. By April we were ready for the recording studio, and contacted our old buddy from high school, Tim Koukos of Screaming Ferret Wreckords, who produced one amazing CD for us. We are also working on a compilation CD for all NH Punk rock bands, on which we will appear along with The Jabbers, The Jonee Earthquake Band, The Queers, and quite a few others. We will be having a showcase night for the bands at The Syder Room in Manchester on May 21st . Those were some fun times. But with all fun, comes a few bad times. We are now looking for a new drummer
